Once again
it is a pleasure to announce our 9th Annual Convention, Trade
Show and Auction to be held in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan at the
Delta Bessborough Hotel located at 601 Spadina Crescent East,
Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. A block of rooms have been reserved
at the rate of $91.00 plus applicable taxes. Please be sure
to book early to ensure yourself a room as only a certain number
of these rooms are available to us. When booking be sure to
mention that you are with The Saskatchewan White Tail and Mule
Deer Producers Association Convention in order to get the special
rate. You may reserve a room by calling the Delta Bessborough
at (306) 244-5521.
We are excited
to announce a few changes to the convention this year. SWAMDPA
will be hosting a joint trade show with the Saskatchewan Elk
Breeders Association this year as well as having entertainment
on Friday evening and hospitality rooms on both Friday and Saturday
evening. These will both be held jointly with SEBA. As we are
both industries raising cervids we share a lot in common. By
having these few events held jointly we can converse and share
a lot of information about our industries. Don’t miss out on
this opportunity to network with a new group of producers.
Please notice
that we have changed the format of the Producer’s Wall as well.
This year for a registration fee of $75.00 you may also display
a head mount with your Producer’s Wall advertisement. This is
a great opportunity for those who would like to advertise their
farm but don’t feel that they require a trade booth.
As in the
past our auction will be strictly a fundraising auction including
many donated products as well as a great selection of donated
semen. We are also looking for donated auction items. Please
canvas your local vet clinics, feed companies, fence and wire
suppliers. We will accept any private donations as well i.e.:
art work, sweatshirts, jewelry etc. In order to make the auction
a success we need everyone’s support!!
